Go Drains Limited Withdrawal, Right to Cancel and Effects of Cancellation Policy

 

1. Definitions

•“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us” means Go Drains Limited.

•“Customer”, “you”, “your” means the individual, business, or organisation contracting with Go Drains Limited.

•“Services” means any drainage and related works provided by the Company.

•“Contract” means the legally binding agreement between the Company and the Customer for the provision of Services.

2. Consumer Right to Cancel

•If you are contracting with us as a consumer, you have the legal right to cancel this Contract within 14 calendar days of the date it was entered into, without giving any reason.

•To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us clearly in writing (by email or post) before the cancellation period expires.

•If you do not inform us within this period, your right to cancel will be lost (except where otherwise required by law).

3. Performance of Services During the Cancellation Period

•If you request that we begin Services during the 14-day cancellation period:

a) You must pay for all Services carried out up to the point of cancellation.

b) If the Services are fully completed within the 14-day period, you will lose the right to cancel.

4. Business Customers

•Where the Customer is a business or organisation, statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply.

•Cancellation of Services may only be permitted at the sole discretion of Go Drains Limited and may be subject to charges and/or forfeiture of any deposit paid.

5. Emergency and Urgent Call-Outs

•Where Services are requested to begin immediately on an emergency or urgent basis, the Customer expressly agrees that the right to cancel does not apply once the Services are completed.

6. Deposits and Payments

•Deposits paid at the time of booking are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

•Where Services are cancelled after booking but before commencement, Go Drains Limited reserves the right to retain all or part of the deposit to cover administration and scheduling costs.

7. Effects of Cancellation

•If you cancel within the statutory cancellation period, we will reimburse all payments received from you, subject to:

a) Deductions for the value of Services already performed at your request; and

b) Retention of non-refundable deposits (where applicable).

•Refunds will be made no later than 14 days from the date we receive notice of cancellation, using the same method of payment unless otherwise agreed.

•Business customers remain liable for any reasonable costs and charges incurred prior to cancellation.
